Summary: A new issue of Alba and Karol's paper is hot off the press

Karol pulled a chair in front of the little wood-stove in the corner of the print shop; Alba lowered herself into the seat without taking her eyes off the paper in her hands.

 

“Everything look alright?” Karol asked, crouching beside her. He watched her lips move, pursing and parting, silently mouthing the words she’d written, that he’d printed. He wanted to kiss her, to touch her as gently as the shadows of the flames dancing on her skin.

 

He watched her lips curve into a smile as she lowered the paper onto her lap, her eyes glistening in the firelight.
