Alba trailed off as she watched Karol stand up from the edge of her bed. She leaned back in her desk chair to savor the view.
“Alright, fine,” Karol said, trying to sound much more aggrieved than he actually felt. He wondered if she noticed his glance lingering on his reflection in her cracked mirror before he pulled his heavy trousers on over her black wool stockings.
She did.
